Job Description:

The Director of Product and Portfolio Management, Strategy, and Operations is responsible for improving the effectiveness and execution of product management across the organization. This leader will drive operational excellence by establishing processes, managing key programs, and centralizing operations for critical functions such as analytics, pricing, and competitive insights. The role requires strong organizational and strategic skills, along with a solid foundation in product management, to help scale the business and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce executive ready standards for all materials entering senior leadership forums

  • Own portfolio cadence, decision tracking, and cross BU follow through

  • Coordinate pricing strategy inputs, competitive pricing analysis, and long term planning workstreams

  • Drive the operationalization of AI tools and workflows across the PM organization

  • Identify and eliminate low value meetings and redundant review cycles

  • Manage PM data analytics including dashboards, data repositories, and reporting

  • Support budget hygiene, staffing views, and staff operating cadence

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred

  • 15+ years of work experience in related field.

  • 8+ years in product operations, strategy operations, or similar high leverage leadership roles

  • Must have former experience in product management

  • Experience in enterprise technology, cloud, or infrastructure organizations

  • Track record of improving operational quality and reducing review overhead in PM or executive environments

  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize AI tools and workflows at team or org level

  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and managing portfolio data

  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and holding teams to high standard

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Operational Excellence and Exec Readiness: Proven ability to enforce quality standards for executive materials and reviews. Understands what "decision ready" looks like at the VP and EVP level. Consistently raises the bar on clarity and completeness.

  • AI Native Workflow Design: Experience operationalizing AI tools and processes across teams. Able to design and implement new workflows that leverage AI to improve speed, quality, and consistency of PM outputs.

  • Portfolio and Program Management: Strong experience managing cross functional cadence, decision tracking, and follow through across multiple product lines. Understands how to run rhythms of the business without creating overhead.

  • Executive Communication: Produces clear, structured content for senior audiences. Can edit, rewrite, and elevate materials from others to meet executive standards.

  • Analytical and Data Driven: Comfortable building and managing dashboards, data repositories, and analytics that inform portfolio decisions. Uses data to drive accountability and visibility

  • Pricing and Commercial Awareness: Familiarity with pricing strategy, competitive pricing analysis, and how commercial inputs flow into product and portfolio decisions.

  • Leadership and Influence: Drives alignment and accountability across teams in a matrixed environment. Sets high standards and holds the organization to them
