Position Overview
ITSC is seeking multiple Operations Specialist Seniors to provide senior level 24/7 operational support to the Missile Warning and Test operations team. This role ensures continuous system operations through hands-on participation in round-the-clock mission support and demonstrates competence across all aspects of system operations and maintenance.
Impact of the Role
The Operations Specialist Senior directly supports mission assurance by maintaining uninterrupted Missile Warning operations. This position plays a critical role in system availability, operational reliability, and rapid response to mission events within a 24/7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level support to Missile Warning and Test operations teams

  • Support 24/7 operations, ensuring continuous system availability

  • Perform system operations and maintenance in accordance with approved operational procedures

  • Monitor system performance and respond to operational events and anomalies

  • Support shift operations, handovers, and continuity of operations

  • Coordinate with engineering and integration teams to resolve operational issues

  • Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and security requirements

Requirements
Required Knowledge & Technical Expertise
  • 24/7 mission operations environments

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience supporting 24/7 operations for DoD, space, or mission-critical systems

  • Ability to work rotating shifts and support continuous operations

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
