L'analyste rend compte au directeur regional. Il est charge de contribuer a l'elaboration de travaux de recherche locaux et au leadership eclaire. Plus precisement, ce poste consiste a apporter un soutien a la collecte et a l'analyse des donnees du marche local, ainsi qu'a l'interpretation de ces informations afin d'identifier les tendances du marche. Les resultats de ces analyses servent a produire des documents de recherche destines a etre integres dans les dossiers de presentation et/ou les propositions, et refletent les differentes dynamiques du marche. RESPONSABILITES

  • Collecter, analyser, interpreter et presenter les tendances et les informations immobilieres a des fins de developpement commercial, d'assistance a la clientele et d'analyse interne pour les marches des bureaux et de l'industrie
  • Compiler et diffuser les resultats de recherche sous forme de rapports, de graphiques, de syntheses de donnees, etc. a l'intention des services internes (courtiers, gestionnaires immobiliers, marketing)
  • Analyser les statistiques de marche, produire des rapports de marche et/ou des supports marketing sur la base des analyses statistiques realisees
  • Assurer la liaison avec les ressources de recherche nationales afin de produire des rapports de marche standardises et des etudes personnalisees pour les clients
  • Former les clients internes a l'utilisation des outils et ressources de recherche disponibles
  • Developper et maintenir une base de donnees immobiliere commerciale proprietaire garantissant des donnees toujours precises et a jour
  • Creer et analyser des feuilles de calcul en utilisant les donnees necessaires pour generer des graphiques, des tableaux et des analyses ecrites, et formuler des recommandations au directeur de la recherche
  • Generer des statistiques, des tableaux et des graphiques utilises dans les rapports trimestriels sur le marche et les rapports statistiques
  • Creer des rapports trimestriels sur le marche comprenant une analyse ecrite expliquant les statistiques et l'activite du marche, ce qui peut inclure la redaction d'un compte rendu trimestriel
  • Compiler des donnees statistiques specifiques a un client ou a une gamme de services en traduisant et en convertissant les donnees en graphiques/tableaux/diagrammes

EXIGENCES

  • Licence ; domaine d'etudes lie au secteur prefere
  • Au moins 1 an d'experience en recherche immobiliere ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Ou toute combinaison similaire de formation et d'experience
  • Experience en saisie et gestion de donnees
  • Maitrise de la suite Microsoft Office
  • Solides competences en applications logicielles de gestion de donnees

RESEARCH ANALYST

The Research Analyst opportunity is a one-year contract supporting a team member out on leave. The contract will be starting on July 27, 2026 and ending August 6, 2027.

The Analyst reports to the Regional Manager. The Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of local research output and thought leadership. Specifically, this position provides support for gathering and analyzing local market data and interpreting this information to identify trends in the market. Output of the analysis is used to produce research deliverables to be included in pitch and/or proposal materials and reflects various market dynamics. The Analyst is also accountable for accurate and proactive maintenance of proprietary and third-party databases with local market data, as well as pulling data from said systems to support thought leadership and forecast development. This position is not specific to a service line but may specialize by property type.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather, analyze, interpret, and presentreal estate trends and information for business development opportunities, client support, and internal analysis for the office and industrial markets
  • Compile and distribute research in the form of narratives, graphics, data summaries, etc. for internal (Brokers, Property Managers, Marketing)
  • Analyze market statistics, generate market reports and/or collateral material based on statistical analysis conducted
  • Interface with national research resources to produce standardized market reports and customized client research
  • Educate internal clients on available research tools and resources
  • Develop and maintain a proprietary commercial real estate database ensuring consistently accurate and current data
  • Create and analyze spreadsheets utilizing data needed to generate graphs, tables, and written analysis and make recommendations to the Director of Research
  • Generate statistics, tables, and graphs used in quarterly market and statistical reports
  • Create quarterly market reports to include written analysisexplaining statistics and market activity, which may include drafting quarterly write-up
  • Compile statistical data specific to client or service line by translating and converting data to graphs/tables/charts

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree; Industry related field of study preferred
  • 1+ years of real estate research or related business experience
  • Or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Experience in data entry/data management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong data software applications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Effective listening and critical thinking skills
  • French is the primary language of work at Cushman & Wakefield Montreal. A strong command of French, both spoken and written, is required for this position. A working knowledge of English is also required, as the role involves:
  • regular communication with clients, partners, and internal teams outside Quebec (on a weekly to daily basis);
  • reviewing documentation and marketing materials available only in English; and
  • using certain tools, platforms, or systems that are available only in English.

The requirement for knowledge of English has been assessed in relation to the duties of the position, including coordination of marketing initiatives, collaboration with national teams, and support of brokerage activities involving out-of-province stakeholders.
