Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced sales professional to lead our Project Consultant team while continuing to work directly with customers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead by example, coach teammates, improve processes, and help drive company growth.
You'll guide residential and contractor customers through the entire project, from product selection and quoting to project coordination and installation, while supporting the success of the sales team.
This is a working leadership position that will evolve as the company grows, providing opportunities to take on additional leadership, operational, and business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Project Consultant team through coaching, training, and accountability.
  • Meet with residential and contractor customers to understand their needs and recommend the best countertop solutions.
  • Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close sales.
  • Coordinate projects with templating, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, designers, and homeowners.
  • Maintain accurate customer and project information in the CRM and assist with sales reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Track and communicate monthly sales goals and team progress.
  • Coordinate sales meetings, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up on action items.
  • Maintain current sales, training, forms, and internal resources as products, pricing, and processes change.
  • Help improve sales processes, customer experience, and overall business operations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, project consulting, or customer relationship management
  • Leadership or team coaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the countertop, stone, construction, or home improvement industry is a plus
