Job description

The Funds Services division of UMB works with clients to provide accounting, tax, audit, and administrative services for alternative investments, such as private equity funds, hedge funds, and fund of funds, as well as, mutual funds and collective trusts. As the Alternative Investments Operations Specialist I, you will help start the operations process when the Funds Services division acquires new clients. You will be assigned a group of alternative investment clients, and be responsible for processing all documents for Alternative Investment products that UMB services. As documents come to your queue to process, you will review the document to ensure everything is in good order. You will research and resolve items that are not in good order. How you will spend your time: Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately, timely, and completed in their entirety Participate in projects/project teams and client conversions Test new systems and programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness Perform comprehensive review of all investor documents to ensure accuracy Input investor information into database ensuring 100% accuracy Review the work of others specialists and provide constructive feedback Assist with writing and updating procedures We're excited to talk with you if: You possess a Bachelor's degree You possess one year of transaction processing experience

US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:

$41,060 - $59,760

US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:

$37,490 - $54,700

US Employees in all other states not listed above:

$33,920 - $49,650
