Program Manager – Steam Turbine Generator Controls


Location: West Allis, WI / Hybrid (must live near or happy to relocate)

Travel: 20–30%

Sector: Power Generation

A leading global power generation business is looking for an experienced Program Manager – Steam Turbine Generator Controls to manage multiple long-term projects supporting new Steam Turbine Generator installations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple controls projects from contract award through commissioning and closeout
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers
  • Coordinate Engineering, Field Service, Commercial, Supply Chain and Quality teams
  • Manage customer relationships, project meetings and technical reviews
  • Lead scope, schedule and cost changes
  • Oversee project financial performance, procurement and invoicing


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related technical discipline
  • 5–10 years' project/program management experience
  • Experience within power generation, controls, OEM or EPC environments
  • Strong understanding of project execution, scheduling, budgets and risk management
  • Experience working with customers and cross-functional technical teams
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, HMIs and industrial networking
