The Global Planning & Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.
The impact you'll make
As a Business Operations Analyst at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Planning organization. Leveraging strong analytical methodologies, you will provide data-driven insights that enable decision-makers to address gaps, resolve issues, and achieve critical business objectives.
In this role, you will analyze and optimize planning metrics, evaluate business processes, and identify root causes of performance challenges. Your work will directly support continuous improvement initiatives, driving informed business decisions and delivering measurable operational results.
What you'll do
  • Track and report operational performance against targets.
  • Lead regular reviews to ensure accurate forecasting across supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics.
  • Identify gaps and connect them to systems and processes.
  • Assess risks and highlight potential issues.
  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Communicate process gaps across local and global teams.
  • Drive process improvements across functions.
  • Ensure adherence to analytics standards.
  • Lead and coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives to completion.
    An ideal Operations Analyst is:

Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, with 5 years experience; or 3 years experience with a Master's degree; or Ph.D with no experience.
  • Five (5) years of Operations related experience in data science, program management, or analytics, or other similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with experience influencing stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced global working environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and other analytics tools.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
