Location: Norfolk, VA (with weekly travel to Richmond, VA)
Tidewater Staffing is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a growing appliance distribution company serving Hampton Roads and Central Virginia. This leadership role oversees warehouse operations, delivery, installation, and the managers responsible for those departments, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop warehouse, delivery, and installation management teams.
- Oversee daily operational performance across multiple locations.
- Drive efficiency, productivity, and operational improvements.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate logistics, staffing, and workflow between facilities.
- Support inventory accuracy and operational planning.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve company objectives.
- Travel to the Richmond operation approximately once per week or as needed.
- 5+ years of operations, warehouse, distribution, or logistics management experience.
- Experience managing managers or multiple departments preferred.
