Join our Team: Parts Warehouse Operations Manager
Rancho Cucamonga, CA
The Parts Warehouse Operations Manager plays a key leadership role, responsible for the management of all parts warehousing and transportation functions in our largest West Coast warehouse site. This role continuously collaborates with our 3PL partners and global warehouse operations team, offering guidance with prioritization to improve overall operational performance and compliance. The position focuses on collaborative teamwork to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements, assess inventory planning strategies, and improve business processes while ensuring timely project completion. This role is expected to be on-site at the facility at least 80% of the time.
What you'll do
Warehouse Management/Cost
  • Manage California site 3PL operations and coordinate with internal teams to achieve KPI targets across warehouse inbound/outbound, quality, and transportation performance.
  • Oversee inventory management processes that meet audit and financial accuracy requirements.
  • Lead Quality and 5S improvement initiatives to strengthen warehouse performance.
  • Partner with Customer Service to prioritize and resolve backlog orders and lift-out-of-service (LOS) parts.
  • Conduct operational audits across all warehouse processes and drive timely corrective actions.
  • Deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments, including SG&A and transportation cost targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, HR, ethics, and policy standards.
  • Act as the escalation point for commercial operations centers and sales affiliates on operational and transportation issues.

Logistics
  • Lead the Parts Transportation strategy, reducing waste and improving customer experience.
  • Monitor transportation performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop procedures that enhance service, reduce cost, and improve total cost to serve.
  • Identify and apply industry best practices while driving process improvements with 3PL partners and customer-support functions.

Global Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support operational goals and drive alignment.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Lead improvement initiatives, managing project timelines and milestones.
  • Use WMS and data tools to identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement.
  • Analyze warehouse processes and methods to support strategic planning and long-term optimization.
  • Evaluate new technologies and integrate solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and improve warehouse processes, ensuring staff are trained in operational standards and safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 15%-20%)

What you'll bring
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

Experience
  • 3-4 years of experience managing large warehouse operations, including complex in-house activities and 3PL partnerships in a global environment.
  • Experience improving and standardizing warehouse and transportation processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with a consistent ability to hold teams accountable and drive performance.
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for influencing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root-cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated capability in continuous improvement and lean concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, and value-stream mapping.

  • Skilled at working across cultures and varying levels of business maturity.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials, transportation regulations, and packaging best practices (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners and communicate technical or project information to leadership.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $135,900 - 166,100 USD. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
