Essential Job Functions
  • Drive branch financial performance, consumer/business deposit and loan growth; and member satisfaction through proactive and engaged leadership, performance management.
  • Manage interaction with key influencers, and impactful community organizations, that you and/or others within Sage develop relationships with, or that Sage should actively support, and coordinate the development of these relationships and partnerships
  • Own primary responsibility for outside Sales, Business Development and Relationship Management with both consumer and business members
  • Lead each team member to achieve their fullest potential through consistent growth and development conversations and training
  • Initiate member business/consumer relationships, coordinating with Business Services, Lending Services and Mortgage Services to promote deposit, and loan growth.
  • Monitor branch production results for deposit account and loan growth. Continually reviews processes and work demands for maximum efficiency. Communicates with team members and appropriate departments on requests and changes
  • Ensure branch Risk Management procedures and practices are current and are effectively ensuring compliance with AML, BSA, OFAC and all government regulations.
  • Back up branch team when necessary to ensure members financial requests are completed in a satisfactory time frame
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all people, including fellow employees, members, management, staff, board members and outside vendors
  • Cooperate with other department personnel to ensure a "team effort" for prompt and effective member service
  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor, informing him/her of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes, opportunities and other important information within area of responsibility
  • Promote the credit union mission and maintain current knowledge of all Credit Unions products, services, policies and procedures
  • Monitors branch security procedures and ensure appropriate steps are taken to ensure the safety of their team and members
  • Ensures all information and transactions regarding Credit Union members are kept confidential
  • Maintain the security of the work area and ensure that it presents an organized and neat appearance
  • Participate in continuing education as approved by supervisor
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled
  • Attend department, management, project, and enterprise meetings and actively contribute
  • Community Involvement with other not-for-profit service clubs and organizations

Education and Experience
  • 5-10 years of financial services or related experience preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree or comparable professional training
  • Ability to train, motivate, and influence people as part of a team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong ability to successfully work under a growth goal and incentive environment to meet branch objectives
  • Strong analytical, decision making skills, making recommendations, solving complex problems
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Excellent computer skills

Physical Considerations
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Stooping; kneeling; crouching; and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required.
  • Sitting - 80%; standing and walking - 20%.
  • Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required.

This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, including bonafide factors, operational needs, and the finalized job description.
