Rita's Italian Ice is committed to serving our community with refreshing, delicious treats. As an Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our locations provide exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operational efficiency.

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of three Rita’s Italian Ice stores, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with company standards, and fostering a positive environment for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Staff Management:

    • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store managers and staff.

    • Develop a positive culture and motivate employees to reach their highest potential.

    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to ensure optimal staff performance.

  • Operations Oversight:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

    • Manage inventory, order supplies, and oversee maintenance of shop equipment.

    • Analyze store performance data and implement business strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

  • Customer Experience:

    • Ensure exceptional customer service across all locations.

    • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.

    • Implement marketing initiatives and local promotions to boost sales.

  • Financial Management:

    • Monitor and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.

    • Analyze sales trends and operational performance to drive sales initiatives.

    • Ensure accurate financial reporting and manage cash flow effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail management or operations management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

  • Familiarity with inventory management and financial reporting tools.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hour shifts, lift 50lbs, stoop/kneel and climb ladder

Education:
Minimum High School Diploma, Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
