ATI is seeking an Area Manager (Operations Manager) for our operations in Millersburg, OR. This role is focused on driving the implementation of the Area Business Teams objectives by modeling leadership, reinforcing operational standards, and coaching personnel to meet the business goals and expectations. This role is dedicated to enhancing operational performance, optimizing resource utilization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Primary Responsibilities
  • Leads the representation of the area in business and site level interactions, in setting the direction for the operating area, including operating parameters and high-level production targets.
  • Identify, develop, and communicate goals and improvement plans with respect to health, safety, environmental concerns, and technical opportunities.
  • Makes sound and timely business decisions based on appropriate business-driven technology plans that support overall business objectives.
  • Leads the development and execution of capital projects that support and advance business and area improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrates model leadership by delegating appropriate decision-making authority, empowering team members, and driving accountability.
  • Oversee the professional development of direct reports, ensuring continuous growth through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field or
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management or a related field, with a focus on manufacturing or production environments.
  • Experience in complex manufacturing environments requiring manual manipulation such as forging, casting, finishing, etc. highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A strong understanding of Business Value Drivers to optimize operational performance and support business growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing employees, focusing on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Practical knowledge of Profit & Loss application, with the ability to understand and influence financial performance.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate leadership qualities that inspire and motivate teams to achieve both operational and strategic goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and business partners.
  • Demonstrated decision-making capability, ensuring timely and sound operational and business decisions.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000/annually +
