Job description

Lumi Nails & MedSpa is a boutique luxury nail salon and medical spa opening in Chicago's South Loop. We offer Russian manicures, luxury pedicures, lash and brow services, and a full range of medical spa treatments in an elevated, design-forward environment. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to run the day-to-day business and help build Lumi into Chicago's premier destination for beauty and wellness.

The Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee daily salon and medspa operations, lead and support the team, manage scheduling and inventory, and ensure every client enjoys a seamless, five-star experience. You'll work closely with the CEO on growth, systems, and culture.

What You'll Do
Manage daily operations, opening/closing, and overall salon flow. Hire, train, schedule, and support front desk and service providers. Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships. Monitor KPIs, revenue, and team performance, and report to the CEO. Resolve client and staff concerns with professionalism and care. Implement and refine systems, policies, and standards. Help drive marketing, retail, and membership initiatives.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
2+ years of management experience, ideally in a salon, spa, medspa, hospitality, or retail environment. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience with scheduling, inventory, and team management. Excellent communication and a client-first, hospitality mindset. Comfort with KPIs, budgets, and operational systems. Familiarity with Boulevard or similar booking software a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
$55,000-$75,000 annually depending on experience, plus performance bonuses. PTO after 90 days. Full-Time position.

Medspa/beauty industry experience, marketing or social media savvy, or experience opening a new location a plus.
