Job description

Leeco Steel is a leading supplier of steel plate from the premier mills worldwide. Due to our continued growth we are seeking an additional Warehouse worker for our Brandon, SD location. Previous experience operating an overhead crane or a burn table is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate an overhead crane efficiently and effectively.
  • Receive orders, loads and process steel distribution.
  • Store product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database.
  • Prepare product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
  • Verify product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries.
  • Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Monitor inventory by completing counts as required.
  • Accomplish distribution and organization mission by loading and unloading steel plate timely.
  • Maintain safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Overhead crane, forklift or machine operation experience preferred
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work on a collaborative team
  • Coordination
  • Organization, planning and time management
