Summary

Manages the day-to-day operations of the senior living location, while supporting a positive atmosphere for residents, families, visitors and staff. Responsible to implement, maintain, and coordinate operations, projects and financial matters within core areas.

Job Description

Strives to create a supportive community environment in which residents thrive. Ensures that quality care is provided to all residents. Creates, reviews and implements policies and procedures necessary to support the housing community. Maintains privacy and confidentiality of all residents, their records, and tenants' living environment. Manages move-in and move-out process. Performs regular grounds and building inspections. Maintains preventative maintenance plan and initiates service orders to ensure prompt and complete resolution to maintenance issues. Meets service obligations related to unit maintenance and reasonable accommodations. Plan and maintain written safety and evacuation procedures and emergency disaster procedures and communicates plans to residents. Completes yearly analysis of funding requirements for necessary replacement and other capital repair needs.Manages occupancy cycle processes. Maintains occupancy at targeted levels. Responsible for maintaining compliance with tenant-landlord law, Fair Housing, federal, state and local regulations. Ability to read and understand federal regulations, budgets and budgeting, ability to accurately perform basic mathematic calculationsDemonstrates a sensitivity and aptitude for working with seniors. Demonstrates excellent judgment, and strategic planning skills. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently. Ensures strong sales, marketing and engagement strategy. Familiar with social and supportive services within the community. Willingness and ability to be on-call for emergency situations. Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Degree focus in healthcare management or related field preferred. In lieu of degree, leadership may accept six years of experience.
Prior experience in housing, marketing/sales and occupancy management is preferred. Prior experience working with the senior population is preferred. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current trends and new developments in the senior living/ housing with services field.
Depending on location, current valid driver's license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.
