Position Overview: The Ground Operations Supervisor oversees day-to-day ground handling activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation ofaircraftturnarounds. This role involves supervising a team, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.
Ideal candidates should have at least one year of ground handling or operations experience.

JobResponsibilities:
Supervise and direct ground handling staff duringaircraftarrivals, departures, and turnarounds.
Ensure safety and compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Coordinate the use of ground support equipment and resources to ensuretimelyoperations.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize delays and ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and report on operational performance, including safety, efficiency, and staffing levels.
Train and mentor ground operations team members tomaintainhigh safety and performance standards.
Safety, Security and Compliance:
All AGI Team members have a responsibility and duty while at work to:

Qualifications and Skills
Education: High school diploma or equivalent;associate or bachelor'sdegree in aviationor related field preferred.
If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in ground handling or airport operations, with 1+yearin a supervisory role.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage operations in high-pressure environments.
Knowledge: Familiarity withaviationground handling procedures and safety protocols.

Alliance Ground International provides airline cargo handling services to 55 airlines at thirteen airports: Atlanta, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Kansas City, LaGuardia, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York JFK, Orlando, Salt Lake City and San Francisco. Warehouse and ramp operations schedules are constantly adjusted to flight operations. Adjustments are made monthly, weekly, and in many cases, hourly.
