Primarily responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of spa guest areas, including locker rooms, restrooms, wet areas, the salon, and tranquility room in the manner trained by The Spa. Direct all efforts toward guest satisfaction, the achievement and maintenance of Omni standards. The locker room attendant will be working in the Male locker rooms.
Responsibilities include:
  • Adhere to all standard policies and procedures.
  • Perform all guest activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with management and fellow associates in all Omni departments. Help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins.
  • Report to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform. Hygiene is key in this environment due to the close proximity working with the clients. At no time is cigarette smoke allowed to be on the hands, hair, clothes, or breath of a spa employee during a shift.
  • Takes care of guest needs, ensuring that supplies are available and that the facilities are kept clean and in safe condition at all times.
  • Monitors guests, ensuring their safety by showing them proper use of facilities; monitors guest use of facilities, making sure that guests do not endanger themselves with overuse of facilities (i.e., steam room, whirlpool, sauna, etc.).
  • Monitors whirlpool and steam room, notifies Management when facilities need servicing.
  • Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
  • Adheres to Omni standards for guest service by ensuring that every opportunity to serve guests is addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform opening and closing duties in the locker area; ensure supplies are available and that the facilities are kept clean and in a safe condition at all times.
  • Maintain tidiness of spa areas, ensuring these are CRISP in appearance.
  • Refer guest problems or complaints to management.
  • Distribute linens to necessary areas of the spa and ensure soiled laundry is available for processing.
  • Assist other Omni departments whenever necessary.
  • Attend all training sessions, learning new techniques to be used in the performance of the job.
  • Attend all Omni training classes.
  • Clock in and out at every shift.
  • Report any maintenance problems throughout the spa to the proper authority.
  • Promote self as well as other Spa, Hotel and Club affiliates and services.
  • Must maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
  • Performs other job-related duties as directed.

Qualifications include:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Must be able to perform a variety of responsibilities, including guest service, cleaning and maintenance of Locker Room.
  • Must be alert to safety hazards to ensure guest safety and smooth operation of Locker Room.
  • Must be able to deal with people in a professional manner under pressure.
  • Must be flexible in work scheduling.
  • Must be able to perform some strenuous physical labor (lifting boxes).
  • Professional appearance.

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • The Spa functions 12-16 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. All employees must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to change an associate from their usual shift as business needs change.
  • At times, due to lack of business, it may be necessary to reduce work hours.
  • Shifts may vary depending on business demands.
  • Report to work on time for your scheduled shifts.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Follow all aspects of job safety.
  • Understand that the job may require bending, stooping, and lifting of materials of moderate weight.
