An Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of a company or department, ensuring processes run efficiently and objectives are met. This can cover costs like moving expenses, temporary housing, and travel. The Operations Manager role often requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and experience managing teams and budgets.

Caring Transitions of New Braunfels & Seguin
Caring Transitions of New Braunfels & Seguin is growing, and we are looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on Operations Manager to help lead our estate sale, relocation, downsizing, packing, auction prep, and cleanout projects.
This is not a desk-only job. We need someone who can manage people, organize job sites, solve problems, communicate clearly, and jump in when needed. The right person will be a strong leader who can keep a team moving, maintain quality standards, and help us serve families during major life transitions.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager will help oversee daily field operations, including employee scheduling, job site leadership, auction preparation, packing and move coordination, client communication, pickup days, and project completion. This person will work closely with the owner to make sure jobs are completed on time, teams are productive, and clients receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise team members on job sites
  • Help schedule employees based on job needs and employee strengths
  • Manage auction prep, sorting, staging, cataloging, photography support, and lot organization
  • Coordinate packing, moving, pickups, cleanouts, and job completion tasks
  • Make sure team members stay focused, productive, and on task
  • Communicate with clients in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Help identify what needs to be sold, donated, discarded, moved, or packed
  • Keep projects on schedule and report progress to the owner
  • Maintain quality control on job sites
  • Assist with problem-solving when unexpected issues come up
  • Help train and guide employees as the business grows
  • Be willing to work hands-on when needed
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
  • A strong leader and clear communicator
  • Organized and able to manage multiple moving parts
  • Comfortable supervising employees with different skill levels
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Able to work in homes, garages, storage areas, and estate environments
  • Good with clients, especially seniors and families going through transitions
  • Able to make decisions and keep projects moving
  • Detail-oriented but also able to work efficiently
  • Physically able to lift, carry, pack, move, sort, and stand for long periods
  • Flexible with schedule when job demands require it
  • Fast food Manager
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is helpful:
  • Operations management
  • Team leadership or supervision
  • Estate sales
  • Online auctions
  • Moving, packing, or relocation
  • Senior services
  • Warehouse or logistics work
  • Retail management
  • Project coordination
  • Customer service
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to lift and carry items as needed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable using a phone, taking photos, texting, and basic apps
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Must be dependable and able to manage responsibilities without constant supervision
Schedule
Schedule may vary based on active projects, auction timelines, pickups, packing jobs, and client needs. Some flexibility is required. This position may include weekdays and occasional weekends depending on business needs.
Compensation
Pay will be based on experience and leadership ability. We are looking for the right long-term person who can grow with the company.
