We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Operations Manager to help lead our team in Plano, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, keeping a fast-paced operation running smoothly, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As an Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day execution of our moving operation, including crew leadership, staffing, scheduling and dispatch, safety, fleet readiness, customer service, and operational performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead amp; Develop the Team
  • Build a positive, accountable, team-oriented workplace culture
  • Coach, train, motivate, and develop team members
  • Provide daily leadership and direction to movers, drivers, and operational team members
  • Help determine staffing needs based on projected business volume
  • Coordinate employee scheduling and daily dispatch
  • Hold employees accountable to company expectations, safety requirements, and performance standards
  • Assist with employee performance management and corrective action when necessary
Manage Daily Operations
  • Oversee the daily execution of moving services to ensure crews are prepared, dispatched efficiently, and positioned for success
  • Monitor schedules, staffing levels, job progress, and operational challenges throughout the day
  • Respond quickly to schedule changes, call-offs, customer concerns, equipment issues, and other operational needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, service quality, and profitability
  • Work closely with leadership, sales, customer service, and frontline employees to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Work with crews to identify opportunities to continuously improve the customer experience
Safety, Fleet amp; Compliance
  • Promote a strong culture of safety throughout the operation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable DOT regulations and FMCSA requirements
  • Coordinate fleet maintenance and help ensure trucks and equipment are safe, clean, and ready for daily operations
  • Monitor equipment and operational inventory
  • Support incident reporting and other safety-related processes
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and established operating standards
