Job description

WHO WE ARE

When disaster hits, we show up. Every time. No excuses.

AmeriClean is a restoration company serving the Northwest Indiana market. We handle water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, and mold remediation. Our work genuinely changes people's lives when they need it most. We're looking for a leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, holds teams accountable, and gets results.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You'll run the engine that drives our restoration division.

As Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day performance of our water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation teams. You are responsible for making sure jobs get completed on time, on budget, teams stay trained and properly equipped, and customers walk away as raving fans.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable the restoration team members
  • Oversee scheduling, job dispatch, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, on budget, and to AmeriClean's quality standard
  • Drive compliance with IICRC standards, OSHA regulations, and all applicable safety protocols
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, and clients
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics. Use these KPI’s to drive performance improvement
  • Identify process gaps and fix them before they become problems
  • Support estimating and job costing to protect margins and grow revenue
  • Recruit, train, and retain top-performing field technicians and crew chiefs
  • Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response as needed

MUST-HAVES

  • 3+ years of operations or field management experience in restoration, construction, or a skilled trade
  • Proven track record leading multi-crew field teams
  • Previous P&L responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license and clean criminal record
  • IICRC certifications (or willingness to obtain)

NICE TO HAVES

  • Strong knowledge of water, fire, or mold restoration processes
  • Experience with Xactimate or similar restoration software
  • Insurance claims process knowledge
  • Background in scaling a service operations team
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification

WHO YOU ARE

You don't wait to be told what to do. You already see what needs to happen.

You're the person who walks onto a job site and immediately understands what's working and what isn't. You lead by example, communicate clearly, and never leave your team guessing. When things get chaotic, and in restoration, they can; you stay calm and execute. You take ownership of outcomes, not just activity. And you understand that every job we complete is someone's home, livelihood, or business. That matters to you!

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to divisional results
  • Company vehicle
  • Health benefits
  • Paid vacation
  • 401K w/Match
  • Ongoing training and IICRC certification support
  • Real career growth — we're building something here and you'll be part of it
