The Role

We're looking for an Operations Manager to serve as the right hand to our Branch Manager and help lead the day-to-day operations of our Utah branch (Boulder Landscaping).


This role is responsible for ensuring our crews, account teams, equipment, and resources are aligned to deliver exceptional service, profitable operations, and a best-in-class employee experience. You'll oversee production teams, support operational planning, drive accountability, and help scale the branch as we continue growing. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in building highly efficient operations.


This is a full-time, on-site role based out of Bluffdale, UT.


What You'll Do

· Partner closely with the Branch Manager to execute branch goals and operating plans

· Lead and develop production managers, field supervisors, and crew leaders

· Ensure all maintenance and enhancement work is completed safely, efficiently, and at a high level of quality

· Drive labor productivity, routing efficiency, equipment utilization, and overall operational performance

· Monitor branch profitability through labor management, job costing, and operational controls

· Conduct regular field visits and quality audits across client properties

· Assist with workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and employee development

· Support scheduling and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and service delivery

· Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded

· Help implement and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices

· Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

· Track and report key performance metrics to branch and company leadership

· Assist with integration of acquisitions and scaling initiatives as the company continues to grow


Qualifications

· 5–10+ years of operations, production, or field leadership experience

· Commercial landscape industry experience strongly preferred

· Experience managing multiple crews, supervisors, or production teams

· Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and team performance

· Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop future leaders

· Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and operational KPIs

· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

· Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

· Experience with Aspire or similar landscape management software preferred

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred

· Bachelor's degree preferred in Landscape Management, Horticulture, Business, Operations Management, Agronomy, Construction Management, or a related field
