You?ll enjoy a strong, affordable benefits package and the opportunity to be part of a team committed to quality and continuous improvement.Benefits:Quality, affordable healthcareDental coverage401(k) with company matchCompany paid life, short term, and long term disabilityPaid time off, including vacation and holidaysPerfect attendance and employee referral programsProduct discounts through the company storeWhat You?ll DoLeadership & Production OversightSupervise and direct production shift employees to ensure safe and efficient operations.Train and mentor seasonal and full time employees on equipment operation, PPE, sanitation, and safety procedures.Promote a strong safety culture; correct unsafe acts and support progressive corrective action processes.Coordinate with the Operations Manager and management team on employee onboarding and ongoing training.Sanitation & Cleaning OperationsLead daily sanitation activities to ensure equipment and production areas are clean and ready for the next shift.Develop and maintain sanitation schedules, including shutdown and deep clean events.Ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, chemical handling protocols, and cross contamination prevention.Verify sanitation chemical concentrations and maintain proper labeling, storage, and documentation.Food Safety ResponsibilitiesMonitor compliance with HACCP programs and respond to food safety concerns in a timely manner.Perform ATP/TPC verification, pre operational inspections, and sanitation audits.Complete required allergen and organic transition documentation.Support plant readiness for SQF, HACCP, PCQI, and regulatory audits.Maintenance CoordinationPartner with the Maintenance Supervisor during off season to plan and support maintenance activities.Assist in the development and execution of capital and major maintenance projects.Documentation & ComplianceEnsure accurate recordkeeping for production, sanitation, food safety, and equipment readiness.Uphold all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.What You?ll BringAssociate degree or equivalent experience; 2 3 years of manufacturing or supervisory experience preferred.Knowledge of food production equipment, sanitation processes, and GMP/HACCP standards.Experience reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.Strong communication, coaching, and problem solving skills.Experience calculating proportions, percentages, and basic production metrics.Experience solving practical problems and responding to changing demands in a manufacturing environment.Where You?ll Work: Belgium, WILocated just minutes from Lake Michigan, Belgium offers a friendly small town feel, access to scenic outdoor recreation, and proximity to major metropolitan areas.
