Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Growth (Primary Focus)

  • Lead and develop outside and inside sales teams, establishing clear goals, KPIs, and accountability
  • Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and key account penetration within biopharma and life sciences markets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and commercial plans aligned with company objectives
  • Maintain direct ownership of strategic customer relationships and high-value opportunities
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with key suppliers and principals

Business Leadership & Financial Performance

  • Own overall business performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost management
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and operating plans aligned with growth objectives
  • Drive accountability for achieving financial and operational targets
  • Utilize strong financial acumen to make data-driven decisions

Operations & Execution (Supporting Commercial Success)

  • Ensure warehouse and distribution operations effectively support customer needs and sales growth
  • Align operational execution with commercial priorities to deliver best-in-class service levels
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and tools (CRM, pricing, inventory management)
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Serve as a visible leader in the market, representing Accuflow Systems with customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Deliver technical expertise and application support aligned with customer needs
  • Travel as needed to support business development and key account growth

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and coach a high-performing, sales-driven organization
  • Recruit and develop top talent across commercial and operational functions
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and teamwork
  • Set clear expectations and continuously elevate team capability

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
  • 7–10+ years of sales leadership experience, including leading outside sales teams
  • Experience selling into biopharma, pharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing environments (required)
  • Background in fluid handling, bioprocessing, single-use systems, or related technologies strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share
  • Experience in solution-based selling within regulated (GMP) environments
  • Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and business performance management
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a growing business
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

 

Travel

  • Travel required to support customers, suppliers, and growth initiatives (~25–50%)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license
