Business Development Manager - Oil & Gas (Onshore) & Tank Cleaning
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Oil & Gas onshore services, with a strong focus on tank cleaning and industrial maintenance solutions. The Business Development Manager at Ambipar Response is responsible for developing and managing long-term relationships with customers in their specific geographic region and overseeing sales with all assigned areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing new business, managing key client relationships, and expanding market presence within the oil & gas sector.

  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Pay: Salary (90K-140K)
  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience + Commission
  • Travel: Up to 25%

Essential Job Functions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in onshore oil & gas operations, with emphasis on tank cleaning services, refineries and Petrochemicals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, EPCs, terminals, and industrial clients
  • Prepare and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and bid/tender processes
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and client needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with operations and technical teams to ensure service alignment and delivery
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and client presentations

Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business development or sales within Oil & Gas (onshore)
  • Strong knowledge of tank cleaning, industrial cleaning, or maintenance services
  • Established network within the oil & gas industry
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • It is expected that the candidate bring some networking

Preferred Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Communications or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Work Schedule
The standard working hours are 8 AM - 4 PM but may vary depending on the customer and project. This candidate should be willing and available to work overtime as needed to meet project demands and deadlines, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
