Pureflow Inc. is searching for an Operational Bookkeeper for our affiliate companies.

OPERATIONAL BOOKKEEPER (on-site)

About the Position:

The Operational Bookkeeper will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the affiliate company using QuickBooks. This role requires someone who can maintain accurate books, support management with timely reporting, and coordinate closely with operations to ensure all transactions, purchasing, payments, and financial records are in order.

Key Responsibilities -

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Record all financial transactions in QuickBooks (sales, purchases, payments, receipts, payroll, etc.)
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts monthly
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process and track invoices, bills, and expense reimbursements
  • Maintain organized digital and paper records of financial documentation
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure intercompany transactions are reconciled and tied out.

Operational Support:

  • Collaborate with management to track budgets, expenses, and job costs
  • Support inventory and/or purchasing requests
  • Ensure transactions are posted to the appropriate internal jobs/vehicles/ properties for tracking purposes
  • Generate regular financial reports
  • Assist in preparing data for tax filings and liaise with external accountants
  • Monitor cash flow and alert management of discrepancies or financial issues

Compliance & Improvement:

  • Ensure financial practices comply with company policies and regulations
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, or similar role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online (preferred) or Desktop)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Part-time Benefits:

  • Competitive base compensation
  • $1 for $1 401k match up to 4% after one year of service

Working Conditions: Usual in person office working conditions, 20-25 hours per week.
