Bookkeeper Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable for approximately 5,000 manufactured home residents and 500 retail tenants
  • Oversee billing processes and ensure accurate, timely payment processing
  • Process ACH payments and check imports
  • Maintain and update lease data in Sage 300
  • Manage and maintain an Excel-based ACH database
  • Ensure accuracy of resident and tenant account records across multiple entities
  • Partner with on-site managers (who handle direct collections) to ensure account accuracy
  • Maintain organized financial records and support overall accounting operations

Bookkeeper Qualifications

  • 3+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong Excel proficiency
  • Experience with Sage 300/Timberline or similar accounting software preferred
