Job description

Hackmann Wealth Partners, a Stamford CT based financial planning firm, is seeking to hire an Operations Associate to join our growing team of professionals. Firm headquarters are in Stamford, CT with satellite sales locations in Boston and Washington, DC. Clients are attracted to the firm via financial radio shows hosted by the firm President.


The firm primarily serves families approaching or in retirement with $1 - $20 million in assets for long term financial planning and asset management. The company environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial and requires team members to be enthusiastic and energetic.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The Operations Associate (OA) provides a high level of administrative service to handle various aspects of the operations of the firm, including:

·     Maintaining client data and events

·     Preparing necessary paperwork for account opening and maintenance

·     Monitoring client workflow

·     Tracking prospects and leads

·     Providing ad hoc support for various projects and issues as needed.


The OA is adaptable and energetic and performs additional operational, marketing and administrative responsibilities as needed. 


The OA actively participates in the continuous improvement and implementation of the firm's standardized processes, effectively collaborates with team members and ensures timely and accurate execution of requests to ensure operations are efficiently managed and high-quality client service is delivered.


Working in Stamford CT headquarters 4 days a week (M-Th) with Fridays remote working. Expected total hours worked per week (including weekend hours) in 50 hours range.


Qualifications

·     Bachelor’s Degree

·     Outstanding detail orientation and project management skills with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

·     Proactive problem-solver and an independent thinker; highly resourceful and will follow-up as often as necessary.

·     Ability to independently set priorities, carry out multiple and diverse assignments within time deadlines and handle ambiguity.

·     Strong eye for business and mature professional judgement.

·     Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.

·     Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·     Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required. CRM knowledge a plus but not mandatory.

·     Great energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working in a small but growing business.

Benefits

·     Base salary in the $60 - $65k range dependent on qualifications and experience.

·     The successful candidate may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation award(s). Awards are dependent on individual success at meeting job requirements and firm performance.
