Job Title:

Game Day Ops Assistant

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

Summary of Position

The Game Operations Assistant assists in the behind the scenes implementation of all game operations activities and events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all game day fan activations in the seating bowl.

  • Work with game operations and arena staff on planning and development of special events.

  • Assist with the execution of events and San Diego Gulls special events including the set-up and breakdown of event, following directions of Game Operations Manager

  • Assist with game day presentations and operations such as the National Anthem, Color Guard, Military Hero, and intermission promotional events.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and all home games.

  • Experience in game day operations with the ability to lift/carry heavy props, boxes and equipment

  • Experience in sports and hockey is not mandatory, but highly preferred.

  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with enthusiasm for San Diego Gulls Hockey Club sports and entertainment environment.

  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment with a high noise level.

  • Must be able to walk and climb stairs as needed before, during and after home games.

  • Perform strenuous physical duties, including carrying heavy boxes and equipment.
