SUMMARY:

TheAssistantManagerof Volunteer Operations is a paid position andisresponsibleforproviding operational and administrative support to theManager of Volunteer Operations.This position works closely with theManager of Volunteer OperationsandMLKProgram Coordinators. TheAssistant Manager of Volunteer Operationshelps to support the effective operation of our robust volunteer community through scheduling, databaseadministrationand recordkeeping. This role is vitaltothevolunteer experience and the success of our many programs thatserve andsupport our diverse community.

DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assistsin the operation and upkeep ofBloomerangVolunteer.
  • Generatesroutine reports on volunteer participation,hoursand engagement.
  • Monitorsdatabase accuracy andperformregular audits of records.
  • Assistsvolunteers with system access, accountupdatesand basic troubleshooting.
  • Assistswith documentation related to volunteer programs,proceduresand workflows.
  • Ensure records are complete,accurateand up to date.
  • Monitors upcoming shifts and proactively fill vacancies.
  • Assistsin managing schedule changes, cancellations, and substitutions.
  • Assistswith planning volunteer staffing needs forspecial eventsand projects.
  • Performsotherrelateddutiesasassignedbymanagement.
  • Assistvolunteers with responsibilities when necessary.
