Job description

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Operate office machinery such as computers, photocopiers, and printers; oversee office equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee Network Responsibilities related to Amazon Fire TV Stick Installs for Residents.
  • Contact person for Spectrum Phone Service when needed.
  • Contact person for Website changes with Website Provider when needed.
  • Contact person for changes with Shift Technologies when needed.
  • Contact person for Marco Technology when printer services are needed.
  • Monitor and maintain Instagram Account.
  • Available for 1 or 2 Overnight Shifts per week, determined by CEO.
  • Completes rounds and logs information in logbook concerning activities noticed during overnight shift.
  • Provide regular and quality contact with residents to maintain trust, assist in crisis prevention, and to meet individual personal/spiritual needs.
  • Attend and participate in weekly staff
  • See that residents are taking their medications (when on duty).
  • Cover other Shifts when Staff request time off as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Must be dependable, responsible, honest, and experienced.
  • 1+ years of higher education such as College Credits or a Degree is mandatory in Networking and/or Website Design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solver.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work with Adult Men with Correction issues, Mental Health issues, and/or Substance Use issues.
  • Able to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must maintain ongoing education provided by OIF or an outside educator.
  • Must be First Aid / CPR certified (provided by employer).
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated when managing communication channels.
  • Experience using email services, such as Gmail, AOL, & eFax Service Provider.
  • Previous experience with common office equipment, such as modern phone systems, printer/fax/copy machines.
  • Must be able to control adverse situations.
  • Able to work independently, with good skills in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Able to be flexible and manage time.
  • Able to work with individuals from very diverse backgrounds.
  • Able to lift heavy objects when appropriate.
  • Have a passion or ministry call for making a difference in the lives of people with (and affected by) physical or mental disabilities.
Agreement with Program Philosophy & Expectations:
