Job description

Summary
This position is located at Stewart Bingo, Fort Stewart, GA.
Bingo Hours of Operation are as follows:
Thursday 3:00 PM - Until End of Last Game
Friday 3:00 PM - Until End of Last Game
Saturday 2:00 PM - Until End of Last Game
Sunday 2:00 PM - Until End of Last Game
Monday 3:00 PM - Until End of Last Game
Working nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Duties
Help
  • Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages.
  • Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag.
  • Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility.
  • May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Meet state/local age requirements (21 - required age) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment (PROJECTED APPOINTMENT DATE: 09/03/2026).
  • May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
1. Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
2. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
3. Skill in providing customer service.
4. Ability to communicate effectively.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":Have previous work experience in internal cash controls and a working knowledge of Daily Activity Reports (DARs).
Applicants who meet the Minimum qualifications, & Highly Preferred Criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list.

  • This job is open to candidates who are located in the local commuting area. (Within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield.) (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)
