Scheduling Assistant
PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE: PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a detail-oriented, talented professional Scheduling Assistant to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite five (5) days per week at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ
This role provides administrative and operational support to our Commercial Scheduling team, helping ensure the efficient, accurate, and cost-effective execution of commercial trading and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and communication skills and thrives in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain, validate, and update scheduling and supply chain data within the company's trading and scheduling systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate reports and perform data analysis to support scheduling and operations activities.
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve as liaison between vendors and the Accounts Payable department to resolve invoice and payment inquiries.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business applications to manage, track, and report information.
  • Support various commercial scheduling and operational activities as assigned by the Director, Operations.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience working in a professional environment with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience with scheduling, supply chain, logistics, trading, or ERP systems is a plus.
  • This position is on site 5 days a week.

The salary range for this position is $50,411.61 - $81,974.93. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate's compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases. In addition to salary, PBF offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes bonus eligibility, health care, retirement benefits, and paid time off.
