Job description

About CRC

CRC is one of the nation's largest specialty physiatry practices in the Post acute space. Our clinicians provide on-site rehabilitation medicine and care coordination to some of the most vulnerable patients in the U.S. healthcare system. Our mission is to improve quality of life for post-acute and long-term care residentsreducing avoidable hospitalizations, managing chronic conditions, and helping patients recover function and dignity.

The Role

The Business Operations Associate sits at the intersection of Client Operations, Clinical Operations, and our clients. This role translates clinical and operational data into clear, actionable insights for our clients and internal leadership.

A core part of this role is bringing CRC's clinical impact to life at scale. You'll help translate what's happening at the bedsideacross hundreds of SNFs and millions of patient encountersinto evidence our clients can see, understand, and act on. The narratives you build will shape how operators, health systems, and partners experience the value CRC delivers to their residents.

You'll own analyses end-to-endfrom SQL query to client-ready readoutand report directly to the Head of Business Operations and the COO.

What You'll Do
  • Pull and structure data. Write SQL queries against our data warehouse to extract clinical, operational, and financial data; build clean, reproducible analytical datasets.
  • Build the analysis. Translate raw data into models, segmentation analyses, and benchmarks that surface the "so what" for clinical and client stakeholders.
  • Synthesize into insights. Distill findings into executive-ready deliverables and client-facing readouts that drive decisions, not just describe data.
  • Tell the clinical impact story. Partner with Clinical Ops and Client Ops to turn patient-level outcomes into compelling narrativesquantifying readmission avoidance, condition management, and care coordination wins for client business reviews.
  • Partner across the business. Support business reviews with Client Ops, workflow and productivity analyses with Clinical Ops, and enterprise initiatives with Business Operations (CCM expansion, value-based care, M&A integration).
  • Own recurring deliverables. Develop scalable reporting products that move from one-off analysis to standardized, repeatable client artifacts.
Minimum requirements
  • 25+ years of experience analytics, biz ops, health system analytics, tech or a comparable analytical role like consulting
  • Familiarity with using AI tools in analysis
  • Strong SQL skills and demonstrated comfort working with large datasets
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, modeling); familiarity with dynamic arrays a plus
  • Ability to synthesise findings into concrete deliverables like powerpoint or google sheet presentations
  • Structured problem-solving instincts; comfort with ambiguity and ability to scope your own work
  • Genuine interest in healthcare and the populations we serve
  • Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred
  • Healthcare experience (especially post-acute, SNF, or value-based care) a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $85,000$120,000, commensurate with experience and location
  • Performance bonus eligibility
  • Health, dental, vision, 401(k)
  • Hybrid work model with in-office presence in New York or Chicago
