Are you the person your friends call when something breaks? Do you enjoy hands-on work - fixing things around the house, building projects, or just figuring out how things work? We're looking for a hands-on problem-solver to join our Operations team, keeping our properties and equipment running smoothly.
No professional experience required! If you have a passion for fixing things and are comfortable using a computer, we'll teach you everything else you need to know.
About Ally Waste:
Ally Waste Services is a premium provider of waste support services to apartment complexes throughout the United States. We aim to keep properties clean and reduce waste expenses for property managers. We are a fast-growing company with an energetic culture-a great place to work! Our team is high-energy team that values hard work, humility, and making a difference.
What You'll Do:
You'll work alongside our Operations team to keep equipment and properties running smoothly. We'll train you on all of these tasks:
  • Maintain and repair equipment across our properties (dumpster wheels, property access doors, chute doors, and more)
  • Install equipment in the warehouse or out in the field as needed
  • Track truck inspections and repairs using our fleet software (Fleetio)
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including trailer-specific repairs (brakes, electrical, lighting, structural):
    • Replace lights on vehicles
    • Check and inspect tires
    • Install and troubleshoot GPS tracking units (Samsara)
    • Ensure safety equipment is working properly
    • Test vehicle operations
  • Coordinate with our operations team to schedule maintenance
  • Drive trucks to and from repair shops when needed
  • Travel to fleet locations and properties across our markets to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Assist vendors with property damage repairs, including vehicle accidents and warehouse damage
  • Support special projects and installations across our markets (like MRFi and Green Bag programs)

  • You're comfortable with computers - you'll use email, enter data into our systems (including Fleetio, our fleet software), and learn new tools as needed (we'll train you)
  • You pay attention to details and take pride in doing things right
  • You're a self-starter who can work independently
  • You have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • You're able to pass a DOT medical certification exam and a pre-employment drug screening
