We have developed strategic cooperative partnerships with leading ocean carriers and logistics service providers, such as COSCO Shipping, Maersk Line, Sinotrans, etc.
We are currently seeking a Bilingual Logistics Procurement Manager to drive carrier sourcing, pricing optimization, and partner management across parcel, LTL, and linehaul networks. This role is responsible for building and managing transportation capacity while ensuring cost efficiency and service reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Source and onboard new carriers, including brokers, local trucking companies, and independent drivers
- Expand capacity across parcel, LTL, and linehaul networks
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships
- Negotiate and manage rate cards with major carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) and regional providers
- Monitor market trends and update pricing strategies
- Support account-level pricing setup and optimization
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations
- Coordinate daily capacity allocation and resolve issues
- Work with partners and other regional carriers to improve service levels
- Support new account onboarding and rate integration
- Optimize carrier mix for new and existing lanes
- Assist in building scalable transportation networks
- Track carrier KPIs (on-time delivery, cost, service quality)
- Drive continuous improvement and establish SOPs
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is required
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation, carrier procurement, or 3PL logistics
- Strong understanding of U.S. parcel, LTL, and trucking markets
- Proven experience in carrier sourcing and rate negotiation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) required
- Must be able to work onsite in Fontana, CA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing carrier/broker network
- Experience with TMS/WMS systems
- Experience working with major carriers and regional delivery partners
