Job description


A highly skilled and motivated individual is needed to join an Operations Excellence team. The successful candidate will utilize expertise in data mining, data integration, data analysis, and data visualization tools, including Power BI, while leveraging a strong understanding of business drivers and operational processes to transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
This role will analyze and integrate data from systems such as SAP, SQL, and LMS to develop impactful dashboards, reporting solutions, and data-driven recommendations that support operational excellence initiatives. The candidate will also leverage artificial intelligence and workflow automation technologies to improve the speed, quality, consistency, and scalability of analytics solutions.
In addition, the specialist will serve as a key liaison between Operations Excellence and Information Technology teams to support data, reporting, automation, and technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand operational processes, define KPIs, identify reporting requirements, and align analytics solutions with business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain intuitive Power BI dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision making.
  • Extract, integrate, cleanse, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
  • Identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and operational performance indicators through advanced analysis.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and information technology teams to improve data integrations, ETL processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear business recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Utilize artificial intelligence tools and technologies to improve operational analytics, reporting efficiency, and solution delivery.
  • Design, implement, and support workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies.
  • Act as a liaison between Operations Excellence and IT teams regarding business requirements, technical solutions, implementation activities, and governance processes.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects, enhancements, business requests, and operational initiatives while meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, digital solutions, reporting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Strong experience with data integration, data preparation, ETL processes, data transformation, and data quality management.
  • Experience working with large and complex data environments and identifying meaningful trends and insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholder demands simultaneously.
