Security Clearance:

  • Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD)SECRETpersonnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Operations analyst you will help determine better ways to coordinate and manage large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. This is accomplished by:

  • Analyze processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations and decrease time and cost spent on efforts.

  • Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules.

  • Interpret and analyze policies, rules, regulations, or laws to organizations, government officials, and employees.

  • Confer with program personnel to discuss issues, coordinate activities, resolve problems, set strategy, and accomplish objectives.

  • Report project status, such as budget, resources, technical issues, and compliance to programs.

  • Propose, review, or approve modifications to project plans and processes.

  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet program schedules.

  • Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering.

Experience:

  • With a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field: minimum of 10 years professional experience related to supporting a US Navy program,
    OR
    Without a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field: minimum 15 years professional experience related to labor category AND experience supporting a US Navy program.

  • Experience with Navy programs with small combatants.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field OR preferred Years of Experience.
