Job description

Salary: $160,000-$225,000

Catalyst is seeking a highly motivated Technical Targeter to support national security objectives through the integration of advanced technical capabilities and all-source targeting methodologies. The selected candidate will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and enabling operational opportunities in support of priority intelligence and mission requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical research, data exploitation, and in-depth analysis to identify targets, vulnerabilities, and operational vectors
  • Fuse technical data with all-source intelligence to develop comprehensive targeting packages
  • Provide technical subject-matter expertise to mission leadership, operational elements, and analytic partners
  • Support the development of collection strategies and operational approaches aligned with national priorities
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, cyber threats, and adversary capabilities relevant to mission requirements


Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship withactive TS/SCI with polygraphnational security clearance required
  • Demonstrated experience in technical targeting, cyber operations, digital forensics, or related technical fields
  • Proficiency with relevant analytic platforms, data exploitation tools, and technical research methodologies
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to brief diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, mission-driven environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting operational elements within the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense
  • Familiarity with SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, and/or cyber mission integration
  • Understanding of adversary technical infrastructures, cyber TTPs, and emerging technology trends
  • Ideal candidate will have over seven years working technical targets, hard targets, and reports writing experience
