The Role:

We are seeking a temporary full-time Analyst, Revenue Operations to join our Revenue Operations team (Finance Department) for a six-month term. In this role, you will oversee and optimize revenue accounting processes, including client budgeting, project setup, quoting, invoicing, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate policies. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Operations to drive accurate and efficient financial processes and provide in-depth analysis to support strategic decisions. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while fostering cross-functional collaboration to support organizational goals and client satisfaction.


Required Education, Experience, Credentials and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Finance.
  • 3 years of relevant business experience, preferably in professional services.
  • Extensive knowledge in MS Excel; proficient in other MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition principles and relevant accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) principles is a bonus.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of financial analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights from financial data, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Possesses a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial calculations, budgeting, and invoicing processes to minimize errors and discrepancies.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, interacting across the organization at all levels

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Financial Process Improvements

  • Collaborate with the Manager, Revenue Operations to identify and implement strategies for improving financial processes related to cash collections, quoting, invoicing, and budgeting.
  • Ensure that all financial processes align with the companys goals and are executed efficiently and accurately.


Oversee Client Budgeting and Project Setup

  • Collaborate with Operations and the Manager, Revenue Operations to ensure that annual client budgets are completed, approved, and uploaded into the project database by set deadlines.
  • Review historical revenue and profitability data to set up following year client projects, ensuring alignment with operational discussions and strategic objectives.


Manage Client Quoting and Invoicing Processes

  • Assist in the preparation and approval of client quotes, ensuring alignment with the companys delegation of authority process.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to secure signed quotes or client POs prior to project completion.
  • Ensure that client invoices are submitted in line with purchase order (PO) requirements and address any invoicing issues in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships from an invoicing and financial reporting standpoint.


Ensure Accurate Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Liaise with the Operations team to ensure accurate allocation of time and expenses to client projects prior to invoicing.
  • Maintain and manage reports for year-over-year revenue and profitability analysis by customer and project on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance with H2Safetys profitability and delegation of authority processes.


Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with each Project Manager to ensure proper support is provided and deliverables are met.
  • Address client concerns related to invoicing and collections, fostering positive client relationships and ensuring adherence to the H2Safety credit policy.
