As an AI and Analytics Analyst for PCL Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta (Corporate), you'll have the opportunity to lead our HR storytelling, by leveraging HR and employee information to determine actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role focuses on HR analytics and reporting, identifying key metrics and trends to proactively inform and prepare the organization. Responsibilities
  • Lead HR analytics and reporting initiatives to provide insights that inform HR strategies and business decisions.
  • Identify patterns and trends in HR, employee and business metrics to support strategic decision-making for process improvements based on data insights and analytics.Use data to tell a compelling story, translating complex information into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders.
  • Research AI capabilities, AI trends, and automation to optimize HR processes strategically.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other corporate departments and the HR Leadership team to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy and security standards.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, strong exposure to analytics and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities, trends, and automation.
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines. 
  • Possess business acumen and an understanding of how to incorporate AI solutions that positively contribute to business operations.
  • Demonstrated ability translate data into actionable insights.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.
  • Results oriented and has proven project management experience.
