We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Operations Supervisor to join our team in Barrie. In this role, you will play a critical part in Operations, contributing to our ongoing success and strategic goals. As part of the Outside Operations Team, you will be responsible for overseeing various lines of business (ARM/ATM/CIT, Vault, Safe & Key, and Brinks Safe Products) at their assigned location. With an emphasis on team leadership (Union and Non-Union) and process improvement, this incumbent will ensure proper operating procedures and adherence to safety and security regulations while maximizing profitability and maintaining customer service standards.

Salary range: $66,500-$75,000 per annum.

Availability required for this role: 1 pm - 9pm - Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Ensure minimum productivity standards for MAC (Customer Service Response Times) and Cash in Transit (Stops/Hour).
  • Maintain routes in Ocean and schedule CIT runs out of the branch.
  • Responsible for daily opening of the vault; check-out & in of liability; vault balancing; provide direction and allocation of resources.

Employee & Labour Relations

  • Ensure demonstration and promotion of both Company Values and Success Factors
  • Engage in active communication with all branch employees to promote engagement and well-being.
  • Ensure grievances are addressed in a timely fashion; make recommendations for disciplinary actions; administration of applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and scheduling creation and posting.

Customer Service

  • Respond to customer inquiries as required and assist in finding solutions to any unresolved issues.
  • Completion of monthly customer SLA reporting.

Security Protocol Enforcement

  • Compliance with procedures and processes and ensure they are performed in accordance with the CSR/RMS and Regional requirements.

Health & Safety

  • Promote and ensure a physically and mentally safe working environment through the enforcement of all Health and Safety policies.
  • Investigate any workplace vehicle accidents or personal injuries in association with Joint Health & Safety Committees, ensuring findings and corrective action are reported and actioned as required.
  • If acting as a Health and Safety Representative, participate in monthly Health and Safety meetings, and complete building safety inspections and vehicle inspections.
  • Must complete the company standard Health and Safety training online.

Administration

  • Record keeping; payroll functions; inventory control, and supply ordering.
  • Maintain Petty Cash.
  • Month-end reporting: review billing and provide appropriate approvals.
  • Invoice processing.
  • Data entry (internal inventory system).
  • Selection and interviewing of candidates.

Fleet Maintenance

  • Technical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure the fleet is in good working order and that preventative maintenance schedules are following company policy.
