Annual Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000
Summary:
The Administrator - Assistant Executive Director position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for all community operations and quality of care and services, including, but not limited to, ensuring the community's financial stability, managing the community's budget and cash flow, adhering to staffing practices, and overseeing day-to-day operations in accordance with governmental agency guidelines.
Essential Functions:
  • Directs all aspects of the facility's operations and programs, such as budget planning, accounting, and establishing rates for resident services.
  • Develops an organizational structure, policies, and procedures for various resident care activities.
  • Manages a direct staff of seven and an organizational structure of 50+ employees.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of medical, nursing, and administrative staff and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepares and administers, after approval, an annual facility operating budget.
  • Meets with individual residents and resident council on behalf of the facility and solicits the participation of these bodies in decision-making or the facility's programs and services where appropriate.
  • Responsible for the facility operations regarding all marketing and public relations plans, representing the facility in the community to enhance its visibility and reputation.
  • Maintains the facility in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the facility.
  • Maintain the building grounds and property through the oversight of preventative maintenance systems and programs, and frequent inspections.
  • Ensures fire and safety plans, disaster and casualty programs, and disruption of services plans are current.

Essential:
* Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)
NonEssential:
* Retirement Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* 5 Years progressive leadership role at a senior living operation
