We are looking for a helpful and energetic individual to assist our team's sales, shipping/receiving, and purchasing departments by coordinating various aspects of customer and vendor orders. Perform operational and clerical duties to help run our office smoothly and efficiently.

The Operations Administrator is a vital position in the operation of our business. Dedication to satisfying customers by facilitating behind-the-scenes processes is the primary goal of this person. Candidates must be motivated to participate in any way necessary to help our team provide the very best products and services to our customers. We pride ourselves on accurate completion of all orders in a timely fashion.
Burghardt Sporting Goods is a local, family-owned and operated business which allows us the flexibility to help all members of our team to utilize the skills that they possess in the most effective ways possible. Our positions are somewhat flexible, and all employees are allowed the opportunity to grow and evolve in their careers.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry of detailed sales by proofreading and matching codes/SKUs.
  • Data Entry of large, detailed POs.
  • Process and route paperwork between departments to their specifications.
  • Notify customers when orders are ready.
  • Organize and handle returns to vendors.
  • Order office supplies/vending products - research better pricing and suppliers.
  • Help facilitate processes such as installs, deliveries, and maintenance calendars.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Filing, both electronic and physical.
  • Follow up on purchase orders. (communications between vendors and sales team).
  • General office support.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Excellent memorization skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer applications.
  • Outstanding time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
