Job description

A growing, multi location organization headquartered in downtown Chicago is expanding its internal IT team to support continued business growth and new site openings. This role focuses on enterprise network infrastructure, multi site connectivity, and systems support, with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki environments and an upcoming network migration project.
This is a network first opportunity designed for an experienced engineer who wants to take ownership of a live, business critical environment. The person in this role will work directly with senior IT leadership and play a key part in a large scale network transition while still handling day to day infrastructure needs. It is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands on, solving real operational challenges, and making a visible impact across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Strong hands on networking experience including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless environments
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki (required)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in production environments
  • Experience supporting multi location or distributed environments
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Exposure to Ubiquiti or similar networking platforms
  • Experience with network migrations or infrastructure upgrade projects
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud based environments
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or other operational environments
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work directly with senior stakeholders
