Job description

Operations Warfighting Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to drive solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As an Operations Warfighting Analyst, you'll use your analytical, tactical, technical, DOTMLPF, and MDMP expertise as you work as member of an Operations Group for the client. You'll support the planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of a Warfighter Exercise (WFX) program. You'll be a trusted advisor to military personnel, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex Operations Orders, SOPs, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to WFXs, Risk Reduction Events, and steady state operations. You will also write Operations Orders as required and use all current and future analytical tools available to produce After Action Reports (AARs). You'll serve as the WFX POC, producing digital SCP as required, producing orders x-walk, and when feasible, cross-train as a workstation controller.
You'll oversee the constructive training work we do and the solutions we deliver for the Army's warfighter program.

You Have:
  • Experience as a field grade officer, including Warrant Officer W-4/5 or Sergeant Major E9
  • Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level such as Executive Officer, S-3, or Operations Sergeant Major
  • Experience with using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with current Army and Joint regulation and publications
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of Military Education Level (MEL4) CGSC, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education (WOSSE), or Sergeants Major Course (SMC)

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience as a Colonel O-5 or above
  • Experience serving on Division or Corps level staff positions
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Master's degree
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Graduate of War College (MEL1) or equivalent

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
