Job description

Overview:
Auburn is excited to be adding an Operations Assistant to join us at our Corporate Office located in Garnett, KS. The Operations Assistant supports pharmacy operations, compliance, and third-party functions by assisting department directors with clerical, administrative, and technical tasks. This role requires multitasking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills while working with pharmacy staff, vendors, and various internal teams. Hours of the corporate office are M-F 8:30am-5:30pm. Must be able to work all hours of operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pharmacy Staff Support: Assist with staff inquiries, direct requests to appropriate departments, and fulfill supply orders.

  • Data & Reporting: Compile and analyze pharmacy performance data; generate reports quarterly or as needed.

  • Incident Reporting: Enter incident data, collaborate with compliance teams, and identify trends.

  • Credentialing & Enrollments: Support credentialing tasks and ensure proper documentation and system updates.

  • Shift Coordination: Help manage pharmacy staffing and scheduling needs; assist in implementing scheduling tools.

  • On-site Pharmacy Support: May register as a technician and assist at pharmacy locations if needed.

  • Software Support: Manage users, update formularies, and collaborate on software report accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required

  • Must register with the KS State Board of Pharmacy as a technician

  • National certification may be required by Board of Pharmacy

  • Moderate to advanced MS Excel skills required
