Job Summary
Perform the duties required by the maintenance department as assigned such as air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical, rigging, painting,
carpentry, oiling, and repair of industrial vehicles and autos.
Responsibilities
  • Investigate, determine, and perform all maintenance and repairs required on all Solar equipment and facility items. Construct, devise, alter, and modify new facilities and devices as assigned.
  • Perform machining operations and bench work as well as layouts and sketches as required to carry out the duties as described.
  • Use necessary tools and equipment to accomplish assigned tasks, including acetylene and oxygen torches for the purpose of silver soldering, brazing and torch cutting for the purpose of repairs, plumbing or heating of shafts, hubs or bearings related to facility items as required in the performance of ,assigned tasks.
  • May use a volt-ohm meter or other instruments as required to troubleshoot and repair low voltage control circuits, such as 110-volt AC and 24-volt DC within a unit up to the transformer.
  • Perform the duties of Maintenance Oiler and General Utility Worker as required.

Must Haves:
  • 1 year of industrial maintenance education or experience
  • Familiarity with mechanical methods and procedure
  • Ability to demonstrate good troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good communications skills

Summary Pay Range:
$19.21 - $28.81
