Job Description

Preferred

At least 6 months of experience in implementation and maintenance of Openstack, CMP platforms, Open daylight.

Exposure to Openstack networking (neutron) via both GRE & VXLAN

At least one practical use case implementation of Service function chaining and ODL integration with Openstack

Exposure to Opendaylight (ODL) API for flow, Service Function & Service Function chaining (SFC)

Exposure to different mechanisms to perform SFC like NSH, VLAN, etc.

Exposure to usage & configuration of VNF (open and vendor specific)

Experience in any Commercial NFV products (Cisco, Juniper, Versa, Vidder, Viptela) would be an added advantage

Experience with technical skills in SOA, web services, data virtualization, implementation of RESTful web services

Experience in Telecom service provider domain predominantly into Networking area of Telecom.

Understanding of OPNFV and setup will be added advantage

Scripting skills in Python would be an added advantage

Understanding of cloud computing domain would be an added advantage.

Analytical skills and problem solving skills

Experience with Redhat Products & Enterprise Design Patterns, Camel and Fuse.

At least 4 years of experience in Spring, Hibernate, and JPA, Redhat Products & Enterprise Design Patterns, Camel and Fuse.

At least 1 year of experience with technical skills in SOA, web services, data virtualization, implementation of RESTful webservices

Software development/programming experience in Java EE and Jboss

Experience with build tools like ANT, MAVEN

Understanding of Web Technologies including HTML, CSS, JS, Ajax, JSON, JSF, JQuery, etc. would be an advantage.

Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications Basic

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
