Overview:
Job Responsibilities:
• Development of compression models with a Linux environment. However, non-compression IP may also be developed.
• Architectural C/C++ bit exact modeling including testing of these models.
• Architectural assessment of model behavior.
• Some Matlab may also be involved.
Skills:
• Knowledge of C/C++ including recency of experience. Testing of C models.
• Knowledge of working in a linux environment including recency of experience.
• Understanding of architecture, HW, HW modelling. This includes bit exact modelling and architectural tradeoffs.
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a team with a broad range of people.
• Good communications skills.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree preferred
• 10+ years of relevant experience required.
Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field. Looking for a seasoned candidate that can work independently.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degrees are required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates without recent, relevant experience in all of the hard skills will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain significant experience with hardware modelling, as well as previous experience working on a project from start to completion.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on C model delivery and their ability to resolve open ended problems.
