Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices.
  • High proficiency with modern C, C++, C++11/C++14, or C++17.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Linux, BSP, and Linux subsystems.
  • Experience with memory and performance profiling tools.
  • Excellent understanding of the C++ build process.
  • Excellent knowledge of multithreading and algorithms.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).
  • Proficiency with multiple communications paradigms including client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe.

Responsibilities:

  • Architecture, design, and prototyping of software for embedded devices.
  • Software development, code review, and unit testing.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with IP-based communications and protocols such as HTTP, TLS, REST, WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, and HLS.
