*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

Develop and maintain complex test suites for layered products on OpenShift platform. Triage and debug testing failures, coordinating with product teams on root cause analysis.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop, improve and maintain testing automation.
  • Develop, improve and maintain tooling and support automation.
  • Report and track bugs and issues using corporate tracking tools.
  • Collaborate both within the team and with external teams on test process improvement.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Must have two (2) years of experience with: debugging container related issues; writing and debugging quality test scripts in multiple languages; working with cloud-native or container-based application platforms; working with virtualization products; and software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience with defect tracking and test management tools.

The salary range for this position is $113,547 - $158,330/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
