Since they do not have a security clearance, their work is limited to unclassified or publicly available information. These analysts often conduct research, prepare reports, and help identify potential threats or trends using open-source intelligence. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is common, as you'll often assist with assembling briefings or presentations based on unclassified sources. This foundational work helps you gain experience while building the credentials needed to pursue higher-level, cleared roles in the future.
